A big hello from OddlyWild HQ
Hello, so we just thought we'd take a moment to introduce ourselves.
Life is so busy that it's easy to forget the simple things sometimes, like showing the faces behind the OddlyWild name...
I'm Sarah, and together with my husband Mark, we run our little business from our home in Lancing, West Sussex. We live here with our sausage dog Chip, and love living by the sea and taking long walks on the beach....well, on nice days that is...Chip is definitely a fair-weather doggy 😂.....but he's also the cutest member of the crew, so he can get away with anything!!
I've always been a crafty maker, and studied Textile Design at university. I love to sew and my craft room is overflowing with fabrics, papers, ribbons and buttons....too many some might say...but I don't think that's possible...
Mark is a Graphic Designer and he's the talent that brings all our characters to life. He is a cartoon and film fanatic, and really just a big kid at heart ❤
We launched Oddly Wild in 2017 as a joint venture, and now design, make and sell our handmade clocks, sewing kits, pins, felt minis and prints. Whilst we mainly sell online, we also take part in lots of local craft and handmade fairs, especially around Christmas which is our most favourite time of the year.
We love being a part of the creative community and its been really inspirational meeting and chatting to other creatives, and getting and sharing new ideas and tips. We also love speaking to our customers at fairs, and seeing the joy in peoples faces when they see our clocks. It really is why we do what we do.
